Last night I went to Body Jam with Erica and it kicked my butt. The class was packed with girls our age when we walked in so at first I was little nervous they would be judging me but the instructor was really laid back and had awesome music which made it fun. I still felt extremely uncoordinated. I think I have the same theory about this class as I do work out videos. The first time I usually like to watch and learn the moves and then the 2nd time I'm much more comfortable with the moves. I've been thinking about all the different moves all day. Hopefully I'll do better next week. After that Erica convinced me to run on the treadmill for a 1 mile which wasn't as bad as I thought. The YMCA has TVs on all there work out equipment so I'm going to try to go on days that I like to watch certain shows so I can encourage myself to workout. I have to buy another pair of headphones because the pink ones I recently purchased are MIA(dang guys..I got pink for a reason). After we worked out we went up to Hooters and shared a half roast of oysters with salads and of course a beer. I was so pooped when I got home I thought I was going to have a really deep sleep but I ended up tossing and turning most of the night. I kept kicking poor E.V. off the bed. I don't know what was wrong with me. Hopefully tonight will be a more restful sleep.
I must be going nuts because I actually agreed to do a Triathlon with Erica. Its June 20th and we have to swim 1/4 a mile, bike 10 miles, and run 3 miles. She emailed me our workout schedule today. Wish me luck. I'll be giving you updates throughout the six weeks of pain.
My stinking camera that my dad just gave me is broken. The lens won't open. So pictures will be sparse until I can figure out how to fix it.
